Obituary for Alice Mason

Alice Mason, 96, of Salisbury and formerly of Pocomoke City, died on Thursday, February 28, 2013 at Salisbury Center: Genesis Healthcare. Born on September 28, 1916 in London, England, she was the daughter of the late Hyman and Yetta Kirsneansky.
Alice worked as a Fashion Designer Seamstress in London until she came to the US in 1948 where she continued her career until the early 1950’s. She met Stanley A. Mason after coming to the US and they married in 1949. Alice enjoyed working on the farm with Stanley for many years and then worked for Campbell Soup Company in Pocomoke City. She also enjoyed bus trips, bowling and meeting her friends at McDonalds every morning.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Stanley A. Mason and her sister, Dora Kelly.
Mrs. Mason is survived by her nephew, Ross Kelly and his wife Karla of Salisbury; two grandchildren, Hob and Carlton Mason both of Pocomoke City and nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM on Sunday, March 3, 2013 at First Baptist Church Cemetery in Pocomoke City. Pastor Paul Elligson will officiate.
