Clarice Mayne Nobbs, 84 of Salisbury, passed away on Saturday, September 8, 2012 at the Salisbury Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. Born in Mt. Vernon, MD, she was the daughter of the late Grayson Mayne and Clara Gladden Mayne.

She enjoyed being a homemaker, raising her children and reading. She loved being associated with the Joseph House.

She is survived by her husband, Wallace Edgar Nobbs, Jr; two sons: Wallace Edgar Nobbs, III of Raleigh, NC and Courtney Mayne Nobbs and his wife, Elizabeth of Baltimore; a grandson, Kenneth M. Nobbs and his wife, Poppy of Salisbury; a nephew, Robert Mayne of Salisbury; a cousin, Betty Steere of Salisbury and a former daughter-in-law, Linda Nobbs of Salisbury. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Bill Mayne.

A graveside memorial service will be held on Thursday, September 13, 2012 at 1:00 pm at the Mt. Vernon Cemetery.
